ACCESSORIES ENHANCE THE USE OF STIHL PRODUCTS, SUCH AS THE HIGH-PRESSURE WASHER LINE.

STIHL high-pressure washers offer convenience and efficiency, winning over customers worldwide with models for all segments — from domestic to professional. But did you know it’s possible to make customers even more satisfied?

With a complete range of accessories, these machines’ performance improves significantly, expanding their use and applications.

“Our portfolio includes many accessory options that enhance the efficiency of high- pressure washers, delivering even greater cleaning results,” highlights Carlos Wey, Product Manager.

According to him, these accessories include both new launches and well-established options. All should be presented to customers, as they are not always familiar with them.

Among the highlights is the RA 110 surface cleaning device, suitable for indoor use as it prevents lateral splashes. “It protects cabinets and other areas the customer might not want to get wet. When used for cleaning walls, for instance, it eliminates the risk of small particles of cement or paint bouncing back at the user,” he explains.

Another highly appealing accessory is the telescopic lance, ideal for cleaning facades, roofs, solar panels, and vehicles such as trucks and buses. It can extend up to 4 meters, reaching areas previously inaccessible without the use of ladders, making the task safer, faster, and more practical.

Other highlights include the foam nozzle, which allows detergent to be applied in an adjustable spray, and the angular spray lance, which facilitates the use of the washer in narrow or hard-to-reach areas.

New items in the portfolio

STATIONARY ENGINES EHC 605 S AND EHC 705 S ARE NOW PART OF STIHL’S PRODUCT MIX. APPROVED BY USERS!

Power, versatility and efficiency – there are plenty of highlights for the stationary engines EHC 605 S and EHC 705 S, which joined STIHL’s portfolio in the beginning of the year, giving rise to a new product category.

The models were introduced at an exclusive event for approximately 70 dealerships in the Northern Region of Brazil, which was also broadcast live to all points of sale in the country.

With a wide variety of applications, they are strategic to farmers, contractors, fishermen and to the construction industry, since they can be used in several different activities, such as the generation of energy, the propelling of boats, spraying and manufacturing of flour.

They come with a four-stroke petrol engine, 3.6 and 4-liter fuel tanks and 6 HP and 7 HP. Another highlight is that these engines do not lose performance under adverse conditions, remaining easy to start and keeping their reinforced safety, essential features to optimize productivity and guarantee users’ protection.

“This is the evolution of one of STIHL’s top selling lines,” explains Carlos Wey, Product Manager. According to him, the new models are not the result of a mere project, they are the result of a true work culture, which is always seeking to outdo itself. “The chainsaws in the portfolio were already an absolute success, but STIHL always wants to go beyond. It took years of research which involved our entire Research & Development team in Brazil and Germany. And this is how we got the new family of chainsaws, with five models that add even more benefits to consumers,” highlights Wey.

FS 161, FS 221, FS 351, FS 291, FS 460 AND FR 410 REACH THE MARKET BRINGING EVEN MORE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE DAILY WORK ROUTINE.

The new family of STIHL brushcutters represents an evolution of traditional tools, with even more power and customer satisfaction. Among the main highlights of the products recently introduced to the market is the 2-MIX engine technology, with lower gas emissions and greater fuel economy.

“We are very proud of these six very important new products for our portfolio. The models FS 161, FS 221, FS 351, FS 291, FS 460 and FR 410 target intense use and provide even greater performance to professional users,” highlights Paulo Serpe, Market Specialist for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Braian Romero, who is also a Market Specialist, points out that the new 4147 family is the unification of brand efforts to offer a new generation of petrol brushcutters to consumers. “These machines combine STIHL outstanding features of power and reliability, tradition built from machines sold many years ago, in addition to the performance and technology of the 2-Mix engines,” he states.

He also highlights the wide variety of cutting applications, whether it is using nylon line, PolyCut, metal blade or circular saw. “Users will always find the ideal cutting tool for their terrain, which is a great advantage of the 4147 family.”

YOU REQUESTED, WE DELIVER. STIHL IS LAUNCHING THE NEW STIHL WP 300, WP 600 AND WP 900 WATER PUMP LINE TO THE PRODUCT PORTFOLIO, TO ENHANCE THE BRAND’S PERFORMANCE IN THE AGRO MARKET.

The WP 300, WP 600 and WP 900 water pumps are one of the highlights of the new product introductions in the STIHL portfolio this year. The new products carry a traditional 4-stroke engine and target the civil construction and agricultural and livestock segments.
“These machines were developed considering the following core applications: water transportation from rivers, wells, and other reservoirs for irrigation purposes or to flood farming areas”, states Tássia Canterle, STIHL Market Specialist.
 The water pumps have 2”, 3”, and 4” hoses are able to transfer between 600, 1,000 and 1,500 litters of water per minute, according to the application and model. They are equipped with powerful and robust gasoline engines, providing high performance. They are also easy to operate, maintain, and transport, besides the already worldwide well-known high quality of STIHL.

Sustainability as a strategy

STIHL DECIDES TO INTENSIFY ITS CURRENT SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT AND GIVES IT A MORE STRATEGIC FOCUS.

Over the past few years, serious issues such as climate change, extinction of plant and animal species, the proliferation of plastic waste, and immigration have been all over the headlines. Experts are also predicting an increase in zoonoses, infectious diseases like Covid-19 that jump from an animal to a human due to factors such as inproper and irresponsible handling of endangered species.

As a business with a deep connection to the natural world and whose business model depends on nature, these developments affect us deeply. That is why STIHL has decided to intensify our existing commitment to sustainability and give it an even more strategic focus.

2016

STIHL’s sustainability policy has been in place since 2016. It has been now transformed into a sustainability strategy strategy that is relevant to society as a whole.

2021

A Sustainability Officer was appointed, Mr. Friedemann Stock, and a sustainability steering group was set up to help achieve the goals.

The strategy was developed over a period of several months with the involvement of internal and external stakeholders. In October 2021, it was discussed by the Executive Board before being adopted by the Advisory Board in December 2021.

PORTFOLIO ALIGNED TO STRATEGY

The main area of STIHL’s expertise is the development, manufacturing, and sale of handheld power equipment for forestry, agriculture, landscape maintenance, construction, and private consumers. In addition to chainsaws, our line of products includes a wide range of other power equipment, such as brushcutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, mistblowers, cleaning systems, cut-off machines, earth augers, lawn mowers, and robotic mowers. Since 2009, STIHL has been increasingly focused on battery technology to complement its selection of gasoline and electric-powered equipment. In 2021, batteries and battery-operated tools accounted for roughly 19 percent of our overall sales.

Fuels and lubricants, accessories, and personal protective equipment round out our product range.

Among the most recent innovations are the STIHL MS 881, the world’s most powerful chainsaw and the only one in its class to meet the current EU emission standards, and the STIHL MSA 300, capable of reduced-noise, emission-free performance that also happens to be the most powerful battery-operated chainsaw on the market today
